On the 29th of June, Office Friendly superstars are coming together to walk 6 gruelling miles across Sheffield to support 2 amazing volunteer groups whilst raising money for other community projects.

The walk begins by scaling one of Sheffield’s steepest hills to reach the charity at Crookes Community Farm. Here the team will help the green-fingered entrepreneurs create an educational farm which teaches children about the benefits of sustainable, organic farming.

The second stop, City of Sanctuary, is located in the heart of Sheffield. By painting and decorating this support centre, Office Friendly hopes to create a better environment for destitute asylum seekers. The walk will then end with a second summit to the top of Crookes.

“CSR runs parallel to what Office Friendly is all about: giving back, supporting communities, & developing partnerships,” says Julie Hawley, Office Friendly Managing Director. “Moreover, it makes good business sense for our members, too!”

Office Friendly is asking for donations from members, local businesses and individuals to help them reach their fundraising target. If you would like to donate, or find out more about Office Friendly’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility mission, please visit their JustGiving page.
